Finally, after all the news lately about the new Nolan helmed Batman film, we finally get a set shot from The Dark Knight Rises! Looks great!

Hooray for Peter Jackson! He finally teased us with some set pics from the upcoming epic The Hobbit!

Yeah, it happened a while back on the set of Jennifer's Body. Yeah, she was mad. But Megan Fox can't stop the power of the internet. When you go nude in a film, even on a protected set, chances are SOMETHING is gonna leak. To this day, she still doesn't know who released them. I feel sorry for the person if she ever finds out!

Finally something from the new Planet of the Apes reboot! Though just a small shot, you can see the great attention to detail put into the CGI work.

This morning, a part of my childhood died. One of my favorite actors as a child, Corey Haim, died this morning from an aparant drug overdose. Toxicology reports are still incoming, but it was never a secret about Corey's drug problems. Best known for films like The Lost Boys and License to Drive, Haim was one of the "two Coreys", and was trying to make a comeback with long time friend Corey Feldman.

Haim's death is the latest in a line of celeb drug deaths, most recently Brittany Murphy, who's prescription drug problems compounded her medical issues. When will Hollywood wake up and see what they are doing to young stars? When will Hollywood take responsibility and stop stuffing their movie set trailers with all kinds of drugs and alcohol?

Anyways, the world will miss you Corey. Rest in peace brother...

In an interview recently with the Wall Street Journal, James Cameron revealed the release date for Avatar on DVD and Blu-Ray, and detailed a second release for the 3D version later in the year.

"It's all right on schedule," Cameron claimed. "We'll do the Blu-ray and the standard def DVD April 22nd, that's our plan as of right now, and that'll be pretty much bare bones. And then we'll do a value-added DVD and a 3D Blu-Ray in I think November sometime."

Fox would not confirm or deny these dates, but I will take Cameron's word for it. Look for more on this as it breaks!

Funny and weird news today out of the Palestinian protests of Israel. It appears several Na'vi have come from Pandora to join the fight! WTF? Are these idiots serious?

Let me put this in perspective. Imagine showing up to a protest dressed as Spock, Darth Vader, Garfield the cat, or Charlie Brown...GOOD GRIEF!

What would a Thundercats film be like? What if it had a huge big name cast? Well,I'm gonna let the trailer speak for itself. Really, it's one of the best fan made trailers I've seen in a while. Check it out!

Pirahna 3D is going to be funny. Not what you expected me to say, right? Well the looks of this trailer give this film a very 1980's cheese feel...and you know what? I like it! Plenty of gimmicky 3D, a great cast, and the return of the Pirahna franchise make this a must see for me this year.

Just 5 weeks from the film's launch, Lionsgate has decided to pull Nicholas Cage's coming fantasy horror epic "Season of the Witch". As of press time, there is no replacement date. According to Variety, Lionsgate is "looking for the best release date".

Why would they do this? My guess is to avoid the juggernaught Avatar, which is the shoe-in for Best Picture at the Oscars. If Avatar won big at the Oscars, it could reignite the box office craze for the amazing 3D masterpiece, leaving everything else in the dust once more.

So as of right now, there is no date, but my guess is it will hit on Halloween weekend, a perfect time for such a film to debut. We are awaiting an official date, so stay tuned!

I am not a huge Vin Diesel fan. However, I do absolutely love the Riddick storyline. I simply cannot wait for the trilogy to be completed (although something tells me it will go beyond a trilogy at this point). Diesel has been teasing for some time now that a third film was in the works (no, I'm not counting Dark Fury, although I love that as well), but we could never nail down any solid info...until today.

Variety recently confirmed thefilm will be called simply "Riddick", will reunite Diesel with Twohy, and will "hew closer in tone to the cult hit Pitch Black and will focus on the character of Riddick as opposed to the universe he inhabits".

It seems that production will begin right after the 5th Fast & Furious film wraps. Stay tuned for more on this as it breaks!

Word comes today that Summit is considering pulling a Harry Potter on the coming "Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn", essentially splitting it in half. While Summit claims nothing is yet finalized, I am willing to bet that this indeed happens. In fact, I am just waiting for the 3-D announcement.

In the meantime, Eclipse isn't even finished as of yet, so expect a lot more news from that film coming really soon. It won't be long, however, as the standing rumor is that Breaking Dawn will begin shooting this Fall! Once Eclipse is closer to release, Summit may have some new details on this Breaking Dawn mystery. Until then, stay tuned!

Recently, some set photos have leaked from Robert Rodriguez's upcoming "Predators" reboot. While people across the net are torn both ways on howthese shots look, one thing is for sure. Rodriguez may just bring the "From Dusk Till Dawn" pain to the franchise, giving it the much needed blood and guts treatment it has been missing with the AVP series.
