Rage Against the Machine back together, but where's the new album?

Many Rage Against the Machine fans already know that the politically charged rap metal group is back together and touring the country. But for those that don't let me catch you up a bit.
In February, Chris Cornell announces he is quitting Audioslave for good, citing difference in opinion and music as the reason for leaving. He releases a solo album, and wishes Audioslave the best of luck.
So why wasn't Audioslave seeking another singer? Because they hooked up with their old singer, Zach De La Rocha, who fronted Rage Against the Machine. Originally it was never planned to be a permanent thing. But after the crowd response they seen, and most likely feeling at home with each other again, they took on other tours. It is said that they have shows booked through December.
These guys have now been on the road with each other for a few months. What do you think the likelyhood is that they would write a few new songs? Pretty high, if you judge on other reunion tours. They usually spawn at least one album.
Zach's solo career didn't do so well financially either, and you can bet he felt the loss of the RATM money machine for a long time. Likewise, the rest of the guys had to have felt uncomfortable working with Cornell. His style was so different from theirs. I mean compare Soundgarden to RATM and you see my point. Rumors had been flying since they got together that things were not going to last long.
But here is the kicker. http://www.ratm.net/ has recently gotten an interesting upgrade. A new home page advertising "NO WE ARE NOT DEAD", and a new relaunch of the website. The last update the old website had was around 2002, when Audioslave had just formed.
Further still, RATM has scheduled an awesome concert for August 24, 2007. Their special guests Queens of the Stone Age, who just happen to have a new album coming out. You can check out this concert at the link below:
So what do YOU think? Will they release a new album? Sound off and leave a comment.
